Eric Chast excels at stewarding first-time candidates and young nonprofits through growing pains, and establishing relationships with new donors. Mr. Chast is a veteran of political campaigns and nonprofit issue-advocacy organizations with a knack for analyzing and mapping the path to success. His decade of experience working on campaigns across the Eastern United States has focused on working in field, fundraising, database management, digital strategy, communications, and compliance.
He has helped established candidates increase donor retention rates and donation levels. His successful strategies include leveraging data analytics, events, digital inbound marketing, campaigns via email and direct mail, as well as time management. Most recently in 2017, Mr. Chast has served as a strategist and finance director for several local candidates across Massachusetts from council and aldermen races to state senate.
In addition, he is the founder of the Greater Boston Policy Initiative, a civic engagement nonprofit focused on bringing millennials into community activism, and a Core Team Member of Roosevelt Institute | Boston, a progressive think tank.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Hult International Business School and a B.S. from Appalachian State University.
