Leslie Schneider, Ph.D.
As a Senior Consultant to the Liberty Square Group, Dr. Leslie Schneider provides clients assistance with relationship marketing, strategic communications, and online strategies. She brings thirty years of experience working with government, corporations, and educational institutions to secure federal, state and local funds and build effective organizations through the use of education, strategic relationship building, and digital and social media marketing.
Dr. Schneider’s interest in technology’s impact on governance, education and the workplace began when she created one of the first on-line service networks - TECnet (Technologies for Effective Cooperation Network) – to connect and market the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Centers.
Dr. Schneider also served as Director of Interactive Strategy at the Boston Consulting Group where she led the development of interactive applications and services both internally and for clients. She also worked with the senior management team at Brodeur Worldwide to develop a strategy for integrating the company’s interactive division, Brodeur Interactive, and its digital communications offerings into their traditional PR business.
In addition Dr. Schneider has experience in economic development and continuing education. She developed and ran the Massachusetts Manufacturing Resource Center (MMRC), a state-and federally funded extension service for small and medium-sized manufacturers in Massachusetts. Schneider has also spent time working in Education Administration, serving as Director of Professional Programs at Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies from 2004 to 2007. She served as a member of the Newton School Committee.
Dr. Schneider holds a B.A from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in International Development Education from Stanford University.
